Country Operations Manager 

Czech Republic | Automotive | Production Support Services | Full P&L Responsibility 

An established international multi-country group delivering quality, logistics, production support and industrial outsourcing services — primarily within the automotive sector — is seeking a commercially driven and entrepreneurial Country Operations Manager to lead and grow its Czech business. 

The Czech entity is an integral part of a wider European structure, operating in close collaboration with regional leadership and cross-border teams. 

This is a senior leadership role with full P&L responsibility, designed for a leader who combines operational discipline with a strong business-building mindset.  

The Opportunity 

You will take full ownership of the Czech operations and act as the “CEO of the country” within a broader international group structure — balancing local autonomy with regional strategic alignment. 

Beyond managing performance, you will actively shape and expand the business, identify growth opportunities, challenge the status quo, and build a stronger, scalable local organisation. 

This role requires both strategic perspective and hands-on leadership. 

Key Responsibilities 

Business Ownership & Financial Leadership 

• Full P&L responsibility for the Czech entity 
• Proactive ownership of revenue growth and profitability 
• Budgeting, forecasting, margin optimisation and cost control 
• Driving operational and financial performance improvements 
• Financial reporting and strategic business analysis 

Clients & Commercial Growth 

• Ownership and strategic development of key customer relationships 
• Expansion of existing accounts and identification of growth opportunities 
• Active participation in new business acquisition 
• Senior-level negotiations and commercial discussions 
• Close cooperation with Czech and regional sales leadership to unlock market potential 

Operations & Scalable Delivery 

• Overall responsibility for country operations 
• Ensuring delivery quality, customer satisfaction and operational stability 
• Building scalable processes aligned with business growth 
• Oversight of project execution, capacity planning and delivery risk management 
• Alignment between commercial commitments and operational capability 

Leadership & Organisation Development 

• Leadership and development of a team of approximately 15–20 employees 
• Building a performance-driven and accountable culture 
• Hiring, talent development and succession planning 
• Operating within the approved annual budget 

Group & Market Interface 

• Representation of the company towards customers, OEMs and partners 
• Acting as the key interface to regional and group management 
• Translating group strategy into local execution while providing structured market feedback  

Your Profile 

• Senior leadership experience (Country Manager, Operations Manager, BU Head, Plant/Site Manager or similar) 
• Proven P&L responsibility with a track record of business growth 
• Strong exposure to automotive and/or production support services 
• Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers 
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and unlock growth opportunities 
• Commercially sharp, performance-oriented and hands-on when needed 
• Strong leadership presence and credibility at senior client level 
• Czech or Slovak (native/C1+) and English (C1+)
